Quintessenza Ceramiche presents “GO OLTRE THE SURFACE”.
An exhibition experience developed for the CONVEY project featuring a succession of volumes created from the Pigmento10 and Oltre collections.
CONVEY is a project that creates a system of connections between contemporary design brands and key industry players with the aim of generating synergies.
It promotes shared values to help construct a community and a new international design scenario.
The idea for the exhibition in the Convey space, curated by CARA\DAVIDE was sparked by a consideration of ‘its own end’. As the two designers focused on the question of what will happen when the event is over, and how to recycle the material used instead of simply disposing of it.
They, therefore, chose rectangular plasterboard panels as a base for the installations that both simulate the ‘start’ of the project and act as a frame for displaying the different materials presented by the exhibitors.
These large white plasterboard sheets are arranged in an organic layout that creates a dynamic path between the various areas.
