The interplay between ceramics and colour

On 25 April, Pernille Laustsen, the current manager of FagFlis Arkitektshowroom, a space housed in a brick-built, former industrial building in the heart of Oslo, curated a special event dedicated to ‘Colour’

The meeting was aimed at architects, interior designers and customers with a clear taste for colour. In fact, the special guest was the colourist and interior designer Tekla Evelina Severin. She was accompanied by her fellow colour expert, Ramona Macchi, the art director and co-founder of Quintessenza Ceramiche with whom she developed the Färgblock stoneware collection.

Tekla took all the spectators on a journey through her colourful universe of research and refinement, while Ramona gave a brief history of Quintessenza, charming the audience that featured 130 architects from all over Norway.

The conversation then continued with Tekla explaining her design process using 3D elements and worktables, and Ramona talking about the inspiring journey of working together to create this standout collection.

The day after the event, Tekla and Ramona gave the same presentation at the prominent architectural studio, Metropolis.

Both meetings concluded with a preview of the Färgblock collection’s colours and formats, that was enthusiastically applauded by the participants.
